Pink Tourmalines are produced in California, Maine In USA, Brazil, Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya Madagascar and small quantities from Afghanistan Area. Tourmalines can exist in different colours, the most popular being pink and green. In Africa, tourmaline was once used as a stone to awaken one from illusion. Ceremonies in India included the use of the gem as a tool to bring insight and help in the discovery of that which is good. The gem was also highly valued by alchemists who believes that this gem can reconcile opposites and grant insights into life situations.
