DESCRIPTION

Light to dark blue to blue-green tourmaline is also known as Indicolite. Indicolite tourmalines exhibit a wide range of vivid blue and blue-green shades. Its typical color is a deep almost neon blue-green. There are square, pear, trillion, cabochon, round, emerald cut, oval, cushion, and heart shaped cut blue and blue-green tourmalines in many color nuances, which include a deep blue tourmaline, light blue, neon to Caribbean blue-green tourmaline. Blue Tourmaline is one of the rarest varieties in the tourmaline family.
